Job summary

Leidos in San Diego seeks a Mission Integrator for Unmanned Vehicles Systems Engineer to lead systems integration of maritime unmanned systems, applying naval engineering and test-and-evaluation expertise at a customer site.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, fleet personnel, and government stakeholders, extensive travel, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to senior leadership; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, naval architecture, mechanical, ocean, or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years in systems engineering, naval engineering, test & evaluation, maritime operations, or related field.
• Experience supporting complex maritime, naval, shipboard, submarine or defense systems.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, operators, fleet personnel, and government customers to address operational requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Support test & evaluation activities for maritime systems, fleet operations, exercises, demonstrations, and assessments.
• Serve as technical representative at the San Diego customer site, coordinating with engineering, fleet personnel, and program teams.
• Translate operational needs into engineering, testing, integration, and demonstration activities.
• Prepare and deliver technical briefings and status updates to senior government leadership.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans, test procedures, evaluation criteria, and data collection plans.
