Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Technical Program Lead to support a customer site in San Diego, CA. You will serve as the onsite senior technical representative, guiding systems engineering, test and evaluation, and program management for maritime missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree in a relevant discipline.
• 10+ years in systems engineering, naval engineering, or related field.
• Experience supporting complex maritime or defense systems.
• Direct engagement with customer, government, or military stakeholders.
• Leadership in coordinating multi-discipline engineering activities.
• Experience with program execution, scheduling, risks, and status reporting.
• Experience documenting analyses, requirements, and designs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite senior technical representative for Leidos at the customer site in San Diego.
• Support day-to-day program execution, planning, and customer coordination.
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
• Translate operational needs into technically sound requirements and plans.
• Track milestones, schedules, risks, issues, and decisions; maintain artifacts.
• Provide technical briefings and program-status updates to leadership.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and fleet personnel on technical issues.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support engagements.
