Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Technical Program Lead to be based onsite in San Diego, CA. The role requires coordinating engineering activities across multiple disciplines to support naval and maritime missions.

You will work closely with the Leidos Project Manager, customer leadership, engineers, and government stakeholders to guide engineering analyses, integration, and delivery of program commitments. Domestic/international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering, naval engineering, maritime operations, or related field.
• Experience supporting complex maritime or defense systems.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary engineering efforts.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite senior technical representative for Leidos at the customer site in San Diego.
• Support day-to-day program execution and mission priorities with customer leadership and technical personnel.
• Assist the Leidos Project Manager with planning, coordination, and delivery of commitments.
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across multiple technical disciplines.
• Translate customer needs into technically sound engineering requirements and recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineers, fleet personnel, and government stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Track scope, milestones, schedules, risks, and action items; maintain artifacts and reports.
• Provide technical briefings and program-status updates to senior leadership.
