Job summary

Connect-Force is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead custom machinery and automation projects from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with engineers, shop floor teams, and suppliers to ensure successful builds, testing, and FAT/installation.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on project leadership in a manufacturing setting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance scope, cost, and schedule while delivering customer value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably with custom machinery.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering, machine building, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, assembly, and quality.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and customer expectations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and equipment specifications.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead custom machinery projects from kickoff through engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and delivery.
• Develop schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables for successful execution.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, cost, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify challenges early and coordinate with internal teams to keep projects on track.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customer projects and communicate updates.
