Job summary

Safe Fleet in Nesconset, NY is seeking a Product Specialist (Technical Support Representative) to provide product technical support and client service with in-depth product knowledge. You will collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering, Production, Sales and Marketing to support order entry, quotations and return materials.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Minimum High School Diploma; Associates degree or technical service experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical background is a plus but not required.
• Experience using Office programs (e.g., Email, Word, Spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to select equipment for quotes and entering related orders with scheduling and lead-time.
• Main product support contact for internal and external customers; domestic and international; collaborate with engineering and product manager as needed.
• Familiarize with sales collateral and product features to better understand and serve customers; support product in-house via troubleshooting.
• Advocate for customers by communicating requirements and feedback to staff regarding needs and product improvements.
