Job summary

VERSANT Media is seeking a Technical Lead to guide the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of Time and Workforce Management components. You will lead hands-on DevOps efforts, build scalable SAAS/PAAS solutions, and team with stakeholders across Time, Payroll, HR, Broadcast, and Sports Operations to ensure secure, well-architected platforms.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, establish CI/CD pipelines, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with leadership of mid-to-large teams.
• Strong full-stack development experience and hands-on architecture.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, APIs, JSON, and integrations.
• Experience with secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD, JWT).
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise applications with multiple SaaS integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps delivery models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for Time and Workforce Management initiatives.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, releases, and environment management.
• Enforce DevOps, code quality, and automated testing best practices.
• Partner with integration, data, and infrastructure teams for reliable data flows.
• Monitor platform health and drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor engineers and manage budgets/resources.
