Job summary

Versant is seeking a Technical Lead to direct design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of its Time and Workforce Management ecosystem. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable SAAS/PAAS solutions and overseeing cross-functional teams across HR, Payroll, and Operations.

You will build and lead engineers and solution leads responsible for platform architecture, delivery, and governance, ensuring secure, well-architected systems aligned with business

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with leadership of medium to large delivery teams.
• Hands-on full-stack architecture and development practices.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise apps with multiple integrations.
• Experience leading agile teams, CI/CD and DevOps delivery models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for time and workforce management initiatives from design to post-go-live support.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release planning, and environment management for stable releases.
• Enforce best practices in DevOps, code quality, documentation, and automated testing.
• Partner with integration, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable data flows.
• Monitor platform performance and drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Build and lead a blended team of internal engineers and delivery partners, onshore and offshore.
