Job summary

Point Digital Finance, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead Manager to spearhead the AI-driven CX initiative, leading a senior team while remaining hands-on in code. You will set technical direction, collaborate with Product, Ops, and CX, and ship applied AI that customers interact with.

You will guide architecture decisions and ensure production-ready, observable services, with a focus on real-time AI agent experiences across voice, email, chat, and SMS channels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• 2+ years of leading or managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience developing and shipping LLM-powered, conversational AI, or agentic systems.
• Strong ability to partner with Product, Ops, CX to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI technical strategy for CX, including evaluating frameworks, platforms, and vendors.
• Own the technical roadmap for Point’s AI-powered customer experience across voice, email, chat, and SMS agents.
• Write code alongside your team and review PRs; prototype new agent capabilities.
• Partner with Product, CX, and Ops to replace or augment workflows with AI solutions and ship them.
• Establish success metrics for agent performance and prioritize the roadmap accordingly.
• Design reliable agent architectures for production-scale systems and guardrails.
• Lead and grow a small, senior engineering team and foster a culture of ownership and learning.
• Drive observability and reliability across the AI agent stack using tools like Langfuse.
