Job summary

3E is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to drive end-to-end technical delivery of asset onboarding on our Asset Performance Management SaaS platform. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data integration, and renewable energy operations.

You’ll grow into the technical lead who turns a signed contract into a live deployment, standing up integrations and building tooling to scale onboarding.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming ability to write and debug data scripts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication, and error handling.
• Foundational SQL skills for querying relational databases.
• Ability to build automated, repeatable tooling.
• Excellent communication to explain technical details to teams.
• Ownership and problem-solving drive with client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end technical delivery of asset onboarding projects.
• Build custom data collectors, transformation pipelines and mapping tools.
• Write Python and API scripts to extract, transform, and load data.
• Integrate with SCADA historians and OT/IoT data platforms.
• Map and model assets at scale within the platform data model.
• Support client relationships and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Document onboarding runbooks and repeatable processes.
• Collaborate with DataOps, product, and support to improve the onboarding playbook.
