Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Gonzales, LA to support outside sales with technical inquiries, prepare quotations, and help customers specify valves, actuators, pneumatics, and related equipment.

The role requires reviewing RFQs, understanding customer applications, and coordinating with customers, suppliers, and external sales teams to deliver accurate proposals on time.

Qualifications

• Experience producing quotations and responding to RFQs in a technical or industrial environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, datasheets, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Support outside sales representatives with technical enquiries, quotations, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Review RFQs and determine appropriate products and solutions based on application requirements.
• Specify valves, actuators, pneumatics, valve automation, electrical components, and related equipment.
• Prepare detailed quotations using customer specs, drawings, and application data.
• Review blueprints, datasheets, and drawings to identify product requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for pricing, lead times, and technical information.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to customers and external sales teams.
• Generate RFQ analyses and clearly communicate technical and commercial information to customers.
• Ensure quotations and proposals are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist troubleshooting to avoid delays in order completion.
• Maintain regular communication with customers on quotations, orders, and project status.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and customer service to support order delivery.
