Job summary

Hedrick Associates Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Inside Sales and Technical Support Associate to prepare quotes, manage project details from first quote to order, and serve as the technical resource for product questions.

You will work with the Outside Sales team, assist contractors and end users with equipment selection, design support, installation and startup phases, and ensure accurate documentation across systems.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and content management systems.
• Strong customer service skills and good judgment about when to elevate.
• Accurate work and strong organization, with the ability to prioritize several projects.
• Comfort with sales conversations, including presenting products and solutions to customers.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Availability for occasional site visits and customer events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and manage project details from the first quote through order placement.
• Be the go-to technical resource for customers on Hedrick's products.
• Help contractors and end users with equipment selection and design, and support installation, pre-startup, startup, and post-startup.
• Place orders with manufacturers and vendors, maintain project data in Hedrick's software.
• Enter startup, warranty, and back-charge paperwork into systems.
