Job summary

The Kendall Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative in Grand Rapids, MI.

You will understand product components and demonstrate how they work while tailoring solutions to customer needs, handling inquiries, and supporting technical sales initiatives. Reporting to the Location Manager, you will develop strong customer rapport, source new opportunities, and collaborate with vendors to stay current on offerings and pricing.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ industrial sales experience.
• Bachelor’s or technical degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and excellent internal/external customer service.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Epicor or Solar Eclipse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop an excellent rapport with existing customers and source new clients.
• Understand customers’ application needs and recommend products and solutions.
• Communicate complex technical information in an easily understandable way.
• Maintain pricing and product knowledge and manage vendor relationships.
