Job summary

Ernst Instruments is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales candidate to match products to customer needs and prepare winning proposals. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams and adhering to company policies.

Candidates should have at least one year of relevant sales experience, strong English reading/writing skills, and proficiency with MS Office. The position is based in Sparta, NJ with standard M-F hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant work experience (Inside or technical sales preferred).
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough understanding of products and solutions.
• Review customer requirements to determine best-fit products.
• Create customer proposals in compliance with standards and contracts.
• Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for other departments.
• Act as customer contact for quotations, pricing, scheduling, and shipping.
• Enter orders into the system and manage pricing decisions.
