Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Georgia to join a team that values precision and innovation. You will train extensively, gain product expertise, and provide technical guidance to help customers select the right products.

You will handle inbound inquiries, proactively reach out to customers, and process orders and quotes for stock and custom components. Collaboration with Outside Sales and data-driven growth analysis are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for this role.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer service, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical specifications.
• Proficient computer skills to manage daily tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft AX is a plus.
• Adapt to new processes and environments with flexibility.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and quotes with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on training in a manufacturing environment.
• Develop product expertise and understand features, benefits, and specs.
• Provide technical support to help customers select the right products.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries around pricing, orders, and delivery status.
• Proactively engage customers to generate new opportunities.
• Process orders and quotes for stock and custom components.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to drive growth.
• Analyze data and trends to identify growth opportunities.
