Job summary
Marley Engineered Products, part of SPX Technologies, seeks an Inside Sales Manager to lead technical Inside Sales and application engineering for Electric Heat HVAC and Industrial applications. You will set direction, build scalable processes, and elevate customer and channel experience across brands, product lines, channels, and geographies.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution in quotes, specifications, and complex applications, coordinating cross‑functional teams
Qualifications
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in technical sales, application engineering, or related industrial roles.
- Experience leading a technical customer-facing team while staying hands-on in applications and quotations.
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Inside Sales strategy, direction, and accountability for HVAC and Industrial segments.
- Develop onboarding, training, and succession plans to grow technical capability.
- Manage customer experience from inquiry through order transition with cross-functional alignment.
- Review plans, quotes, proposals, and pricing inputs; ensure technical credibility.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering on opportunities and launches.
- Drive continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and data to increase speed and quality.
- Coordinate with channel partners, distributors, and OEMs to strengthen market reach.
