Job summary
SPX Technologies in Missouri Brentwood is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to provide technical assistance, sales support, and compelling quotations to external customers, while supporting Quality and Process improvements and assisting other business functions when technical expertise is required.
The role requires 2-3 years in a technical sales or support role, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; the position is hybrid with 2-3 days
Qualifications
- 2-3 years in a technical sales or support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain customer relationships and engagement
- Prepare pricing, technical information, proposals and related documents for customers
- Manage assigned product lines, geographic region, OEM or key accounts as defined by sales management
- Perform quoting activity for customers
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications to develop/cost estimates
- Provide technical services for use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Provide technical training to field sales personnel
- Be product expert and continually enhance the company’s products
- Liaise between sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality and production control on orders
