Emerson Electric Co. in Appleton Group seeks a Manager, Technical Inside Sales to lead the Technical Inside Sales team supporting Engineered-to-Order product lines. You will develop talent, set expectations, and drive excellence across quotes, orders, and customer care.

You will partner with Engineering, Pricing, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales to deliver technically sound, timely solutions while improving efficiency and scalability of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Technical Inside Sales/related roles with leadership experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technical Inside Sales organization, establishing clear performance expectations, coaching and developing employees, managing team resources, and building a high-performing culture focused on accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational and commercial performance by establishing and monitoring KPIs, improving quote turnaround time, quotation quality, order execution, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure delivery of accurate, timely, and competitive technical solutions by maintaining compliance with specifications, policies, and industry standards throughout quotation and order lifecycles.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve complex technical, commercial, and operational challenges with Engineering, Pricing, Manufacturing, Product Management, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Outside Sales.
• Drive process improvement by standardizing workflows, leveraging systems, improving data integrity, and executing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide actionable business insights and support strategic initiatives through dashboards, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
