Job summary
Weimer Bearing & Transmission seeks a motivated Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Piedmont/Greenville team within the Carolina Bearing & Belting Division. You will process orders, prepare quotes, handle returns, and act as the main customer contact, delivering technical product solutions with strong service.
Requirements include at least 1 year in inside sales, excellent communication, and mechanical aptitude.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of inside sales experience required
- Industrial sales or power transmission product experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system a plus
Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare customer quotations and follow up on opportunities
- Handle returns, expediting, and order status updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
- Provide technical product solutions and support to customers
- Learn and understand our product lines and applications
- Participate in and complete our internal training program
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
