Job summary

KLA is seeking a Technical Product Support Engineer to deliver advanced troubleshooting for semiconductor capital equipment. You will work hands-on with optical, electrical, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and software systems, acting as the second escalation point and guiding recovery plans with field engineers.

The role involves 40–70% travel, on-site customer support, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and restore equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on equipment problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar capital equipment.
• Ability to isolate root causes and perform structured fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the second-level escalation resource for ongoing issues with KLA equipment.
• Assist field engineers with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex systems.
• Identify root causes and determine corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting progress, results, and lessons learned in reports.
• Travel regionally and internationally to support critical escalated issues on-site.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to field teams.
