Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Technical Engineer to help plan, build, and repair airstrips, docks, barracks, roads, and other projects. You will draw topographic maps, conduct geodetic surveys, and provide technical support for construction efforts while learning essential military engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Draw topographic maps and CAD interpretations.
• Experience with geodetic surveys is preferred.
• Able to operate surveying instruments and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Draw topographic maps and charts using Computer Aided Drafting systems and software
• Conduct geodetic and construction surveys and results utilizing Automated Integrated Survey Instruments and Global Positioning Survey Technology
• Provide technical support for vertical and horizontal construction projects
