Job summary
Army National Guard seeks a Technical Engineer to help plan, build, and repair airstrips, docks, barracks, and roads. You will draft construction plans, conduct surveys, and interpret aerial imagery to support civilian and military projects.
Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 17 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with pay during training and tuition assistance available.
Qualifications
- Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet eligibility criteria.
- Must be at least a junior in high school or hold a high school diploma/GED.
- Must be between 17 and 35 years old and pass a physical exam.
Responsibilities
- Draw topographic maps and charts using CAD systems.
- Conduct geodetic surveys and support construction projects.
- Provide technical support for vertical and horizontal construction.
