Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, advising or career services.
• Strong student support and outreach abilities.
• Ability to build partnerships with high schools and local business.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and counselors with career assessment and exploration.
• Assist with Technical Education Dual Enrollment.
• Provide soft skills training, resumes, applications, and mock interviews.
• Assist faculty with placement of graduates.
• Support retention and recruitment of non-traditional students.
• Plan and organize camps and career fairs for the Technical Division.
• Help develop Perkins V Core Indicators plan.
• Organize industry events and career days for technical division students.
• Build relationships with high schools and local business leaders.
• Recruit and enroll veterans and non-traditional students.
• Advise students during registration and enrollment.
• Host tours and camps (STEM, Manufacturing Day, Career Connections, Open Houses, Scholarships).
• Support apprenticeship and work-based learning programs.
• Inform eligible students about program opportunities.
• Refer candidates without discrimination.
• Provide information on co-op/interns' study and status.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the company.
• Schedule and host tours for Technical Division students.
• Travel to service area schools and training sessions.
• Maintain records and provide reports.
• Maintain work hours and professional dress.
• Adhere to college and system policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
