Job summary

Emerson in Tulsa, OK is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will serve as a key link between customers, sales, manufacturing, and operations, driving satisfaction and supporting revenue growth through proactive communication and effective account management.

Responsibilities include coordinating with distributors and internal teams, analyzing inventory with the MRP system, owning the complaint resolution process, and ensuring accurate order processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-4 years of customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office software.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Technical qualification in a mechanical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to distributors, impact partners, and internal stakeholders by delivering exceptional customer support and sales coordination.
• Leverage MRP systems to analyze inventory levels of parts and finished goods, enabling informed commitments and accurate communication with customers and sales teams.
• Own the customer complaint resolution process from initiation through closure, ensuring timely, effective resolution and a positive customer experience.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding open issues, orders, and RMAs, providing timely updates and driving successful outcomes.
• Support achievement of customer service objectives through prompt response times, accurate order processing, and detailed documentation of customer interactions.
• Apply product knowledge and provide first-level technical support for established products, assisting customers with routine inquiries and product-related questions.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, sales, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed effectively.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities related to quality, engineering, and production changes to ensure customer specifications and expectations are met.
• Monitor inventory availability and product status to support customer needs, order fulfillment, and business objectives.
