Job summary

Owen Daniels in London seeks a Technical Customer Advisor to read and interpret technical drawings, discuss requirements with customers and turn technical details into practical product solutions. The role is permanent, with hybrid working from Kingsbury, London, and salary dependent on experience.

You will prepare technical and commercial quotations, answer queries by phone and email, and support customers with technical information to help them choose the right solution.

Job Description

• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and customer specifications.
• Identify key technical information, dimensions, requirements and application details from drawings.
• Discuss technical requirements with customers and ask relevant questions to clarify their needs.
• Provide clear and practical technical advice by phone and email.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience working with technical products, engineering components or technical specifications.
• Must have previous experience in technical sales, internal sales, sales order processing, technical support or customer service background
• The ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
