Job summary

Luminys Systems Corporation seeks a Technical Consultant to partner with Regional Sales Managers across the US and Canada to deliver product demonstrations and provide technical recommendations aligned with customer needs.

The role requires strong CCTV and Access Control expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% to support customers and close opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience.
• Strong technical experience of higher-end CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Discuss with customers and engineers to determine system requirements, and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support, working closely with all the key dealer/SI in the assigned region, build personal trust and relationship with customer.
• Secure orders with sales teams.
• Plan and customize products to meet customer needs.
• Help clients solve key problems that needs onsite presence or coordinate with tech support team to find solutions.
• Recommend and cross reference improved materials to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase the value.
• Help in researching and developing new products by gathering customer requirements.
• Help the company to provide evaluation to the customer or business opportunities in a technical perspective.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% as needed.
• Other projects as assigned.
