Job summary

Vision Technologies is seeking a Security Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain complex CCTV and Access Control systems in customer sites. You will lead troubleshooting efforts, perform preventive maintenance, and support junior technicians while coordinating with IT teams as needed.

The role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently in the field, and excellent customer communication to minimize downtime and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in low-voltage/security systems.
• Experience servicing systems, not just installing.
• Comfortable working independently in the field.
• Has handled live customer environments (hospitals, schools, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with daily travel.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CCTV and Access Control systems using advanced diagnostics.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Communicate with customers to explain service progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts usage.
• Manage inventory levels for parts and supplies.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
