Job summary

Appian seeks a Technical Consultant to join its Customer Success team. You will engage with customers post-sales to develop software and AI solutions on the Appian platform, guiding projects through the full lifecycle—from design to deployment.

You’ll collaborate with client teams in an agile setting, craft data models, and build APIs to integrate with systems while advancing AI-driven transformations across customer journeys.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with clients to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements.
• Excellent communication and learning mindset; problem-solving orientation.
• History of success on cross-functional teams; experience building products using agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Willingness to travel; 20% or less annually.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers post-sales to define, design, develop and implement software and AI solutions on Appian’s platform.
• Work within an agile environment to understand business processes and technical needs.
• Launch production data models and develop APIs to integrate with systems.
• Collaborate with client teams and drive adoption for self-sufficiency.
• Apply Appian AI tools (RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering) in solutions.
