Job summary

Ohio CAT, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is hiring a Technical Communicator to coordinate service requests between dealership technicians and senior communicators, ensuring timely resolution of product problems and technical issues.

The role includes maintaining user access to Caterpillar PSCRM, handling incoming service calls, answering basic questions, and escalating complex issues as needed; some travel may be required during training.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Earthmoving Heavy Equipment as a service technician preferred.
• Fundamental mechanical skill/aptitude required.
• Understanding of the heavy earthmoving equipment industry desired.
• Completion of a 2-year Diesel Technology or Power Equipment Technology program preferred.
• Basic courses in engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems desired.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Service Request activities between dealership Service Technicians and Senior Technical Communicators.
• Maintain all user accounts in Caterpillar’s PSCRM system.
• Answer incoming Service Request phone calls and basic service questions.
• Elevate more complex issues to a Senior Technical Communicator.
• Some travel may be required during training and orientation.
