Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking a Technical Assistant to support patient care and help sonographers deliver expert ultrasound imaging. You’ll prepare exam rooms, coordinate schedules, and assist with front desk tasks and patient intake.

No prior healthcare experience is required; we welcome adaptable, detail-oriented individuals with strong communication and a service mindset. Roles offer Monday–Friday day shifts with PTO accrual and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to travel to clinic sites within assigned area
  • No prior healthcare experience required (we’ll train)

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate empathy and professionalism in the delivery of patient care
  • Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
  • Call existing clinical sites to confirm schedules
  • Assist with patient calls, front desk check-in/out, and rescheduling
  • Prepare patients and exam rooms for ultrasound procedures
  • Retrieve patient files and relevant medical information
  • Escort patients to exam rooms
  • Collect height, weight, blood pressure, and other vitals
  • Conduct intake questionnaire forms
  • Assist medical staff with examinations or procedures
  • Update and archive medical records and ultrasound images
  • Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies
  • Other duties assigned by managers

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Escort patients and visitors to the exam room.

  • Assist medical professionals with patient examinations or procedures.
  • Assist in updating and archiving medical records and ultrasound images.
  • Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies as needed.
  • Other duties assigned by managers.

BONUS POINTS
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English
