Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking experienced OB/MFM Sonographers to join our growing team across Austin-area clinics. In this role, you’ll work with physician partners, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
  • 1+ years high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic procedures.
  • Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
  • Other duties assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

IS THIS YOU?


  • Graduate of a CAAHEP‑accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty

  • 1+ years high‑risk OB and or MFM sonography experience

  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty

  • Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound

  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future


DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?


  • Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)

  • Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length

  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study


RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
