Job Summary :

The US Property Hybrid Solutions team of Everest Reinsurance Company, a member of the Everest Group, Ltd. is looking for a Technical Assistant I to join our New York City, NY office.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Review and interpret reinsurance submissions.

  • Regularly review and adhere to department processing guidelines and procedures to ensure accuracy including recommended changes/enhancements.

  • Manage underwriting and broker relationships with timely responses relative to service inquiries.

  • Maintain all correspondence activity with internal and external customers including daily diaries on pending transactions.

  • Interact with underwriters and provide analytical support on contracts.

  • Work on improving and automating workflow.

  • Flexibility to support Underwriters located in different regions and time zones within the United States

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Relevant work or educational experience OR 1-2 years reinsurance experience.

  • Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong work ethic.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and requests to complete work within required time constraints with a high volume of work.

  • Strong collaboration & Teamwork skills.

  • Self-starter that is energized by independent learning and research.

  • A willingness to learn and solve problems and work proactively with minimal supervision.

For NY Only:The base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $75,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
