Job summary

Hamilton Company is a global leader in designing and manufacturing precision measurement devices, including sensors and automated liquid handling systems. The Area Sales Manager will manage relationships with Process Analytics accounts, drive growth in the Boston region, and leverage CRM for pipeline management.

The role emphasizes technical sensor applications in bioprocesses, with travel within the territory and a focus on meeting annual growth targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering required.
Minimum of five years technical sales experience in process analytics preferred.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of markets including Biopharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemical Processing, etc.
Must hold and maintain a current, valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Establish relationships with existing customers to expand account penetration across Hamilton sensor products.
Prospect for new leads through tradeshows, social networks, and cold calls.
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned territory to meet sales targets.
Use CRM to manage the sales process and communicate sales pipeline.
Coordinate customer visits, demos, or lunch-and-learns to support sales trips.
Assist in development and execution of marketing plans and objectives.
