Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Professional Services Technical Architect to lead technical delivery from scoping through delivery and handoff. You will design high‑level architectures for GitLab deployments, coordinate across teams, and ensure customer requirements align with the SOW.

You’ll mentor teams, develop delivery kits, and share best practices in a remote, asynchronous environment. You’ll guide migrations, implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and work across self‑managed and cloud environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an advanced technical field.
• Proven experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, and CICD migrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for GitLab Professional Services engagements from scoping to handoff.
• Design reference architectures for self-managed and cloud deployments using IaC practices.
• Oversee migrations to GitLab using Congregate and coordinate with customers and partners.
• Develop repeatable delivery kits and training materials for teams and partners.
• Provide DevOps/DevSecOps guidance and ensure deliverables meet SOW requirements.
