Job summary

GitLab seeks a Professional Services Technical Architect to guide the technical direction of customer engagements from scoping to delivery. You will design high-level architectures for GitLab infrastructure, align deliverables with SOWs, and mentor teams across projects.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, and the GitLab Environment Toolkit to enable successful deployments in cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing architectures for self-managed and cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across senior levels.
• Proven track record delivering DevOps/CI-CD consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Design reference architectures for GitLab deployments in self-managed and cloud environments.
• Lead the technical delivery lifecycle for Professional Services engagements from scoping to handoff.
• Build repeatable delivery kits, documentation, and enablement materials for projects.
• Mentor Professional Services and partner consultants on best practices and tooling.
• Collaborate with customers to define SOWs, align on timelines, and reduce risk.
