Job summary

HB Fuller is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth across the West Coast U.S. and Canada. You will partner with Account Managers, serve as the technical expert, conduct product demonstrations, and support launches to convert opportunities.

Ideal candidates bring extensive technical sales experience, strong presentation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects. This role requires territory residency on the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in technical sales or related industry, or an associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in a technical field.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical aptitude to support sales demonstrations, application development, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to grow strategic customer opportunities.
• Serve as the technical expert for assigned markets, applications, and technologies.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application evaluations, and customer training.
• Troubleshoot customer applications and provide technical solutions for growth.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with key OEMs/AEMs and strategic customers.
• Support new product launches and recommend portfolio enhancements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D on customer solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and opportunities with independent judgment.
• Continuously develop technical expertise and seek support to ensure customer success.
