Job summary

The University of New Mexico's UNM Bookstore in Albuquerque is seeking a TechDen Sales Assistant to help customers with technology needs and products. You will assist shoppers, maintain product displays, and collaborate with team members to keep displays informative and up-to-date.

This student role requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours, strong customer service skills across in-person, email, and phone channels, and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• Must be a student registered for at least 6 credit hours for the Fall semester.
• Experience in retail environment.
• Ability to give excellent customer service in person, via email, & over the phone.
• Experience with POS/cash handling.
• Passionate about technology related products.
• Self-motivated with an ability to stay productive.

A great attitude and strong work ethic will be required to be successful at the UNM Bookstore. As a Sales Assistant in the TechDen you will be expected to assist customers with their specific technology needs and help them find great products and solutions. It is important to stay up to date and review new product information in the always changing technology industry. You will also work with members of your department to maintain visual merchandising standards.

The UNM Bookstores will be open 12/14-12/22 and reopen for the Spring semester on 1/4.
