Job summary

Tavily by Nebius is seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to own commercial agreements supporting its global business. You will partner with GTM teams, negotiate complex tech and privacy contracts, and help shape templates, processes, and guidance for scalable growth.

You will handle DPAs and privacy requirements across markets, advise on commercial risk, and drive improvements to templates and playbooks for efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

• J.D./LL.B. or equivalent required and admitted to practice in the United States, an EU member state, or Israel.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or technology company.
• Experience independently drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements.
• Practical experience with DPAs and privacy requirements (GDPR, US state privacy laws).
• Working knowledge of intellectual property and copyright in technology agreements.
• Strong commercial judgment and clear communication with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial negotiations and draft, review, and negotiate customer, SaaS, reseller, service, vendor, and partner agreements.
• Partner with Go-to-Market teams to balance business goals with legal risk.
• Support privacy and data protection through DPAs and privacy program enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-border negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
• Translate legal considerations into actionable recommendations for business teams.
• Improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and legal workflows for scale.
