Job summary

The role requires US/EU/Israel bar admission, a top-tier LL.B., 4–9 years in tech commercial and privacy law, and experience with DPAs and SaaS AI environments. On-site in Austin or New York, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in the U.S., EU, or Israel.
• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a top-tier university.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, particularly Fortune 500 customer-facing contracts under pressure.
• 4–9 years of experience practicing tech commercial and privacy law at both a leading law firm and as in-house counsel at a tech company.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology commercial agreements (including DPAs).
• Experience in SaaS AI companies.
• Experience with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, and U.S. state privacy laws).
• Experience with U.S. copyright and intellectual property laws.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of customer-facing and commercial agreements.
• Negotiate SaaS, Reseller, and Service Level Agreements.
• Advise GTM teams during customer negotiations with practical, business-oriented guidance.
• Support Tavily’s privacy and data protection program across global regulations.
• Review and negotiate DPAs and provide privacy guidance.
• Handle procurement-related transactions with vendors and partners.
• Manage cross-border transactions with multiple stakeholders.
• Translate regional legal requirements into practical guidance for global teams.
• Develop and improve regional contract templates, playbooks, and processes.
