Job summary

City of Houston’s Center for Public Leadership and Learning seeks a Training Coordinator to deliver MS365 training across Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, Lists, Power BI, and Copilot. You will translate complex systems into clear, user-friendly steps and create practical job aids and quick reference guides for adult learners.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Personnel Management, or a related field.
• Four years of professional personnel experience involving training in a formal classroom and/or curriculum development for adult learners.
• Experience creating accessible learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on MS365 tools and related apps to support day-to-day work.
• Translate technical systems into clear, step-by-step training for end users.
• Develop training materials such as job aids and quick reference guides.
• Partner with system owners and SMEs to keep training current with updates.
• Simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences and adapt to learning styles.
• Design accessible, inclusive technology-enabled learning experiences.
