We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Trainer to join our IT team and lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology training programs across the organization. This individual will play a key role in ensuring end users are proficient in the software applications, tools, and technologies required to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a dynamic trainer with strong presentation skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern learning technologies, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging and practical learning experiences. This role offers a blend of classroom instruction, virtual training, eLearning development, end-user support, and collaboration with cross-functional technology teams.

Responsibilities

Training Design & Delivery

• Analyze user feedback, technology trends, and business needs to identify training opportunities and development priorities.
• Design, develop, promote, and evaluate technology training programs and onboarding initiatives.
• Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Conduct new hire technology onboarding and follow-up training programs.
• Develop and facilitate customized training programs for departments, teams, practice groups, and individual users.
• Adapt delivery methods and instructional approaches to accommodate varying learning styles and skill levels.

Learning Content Development

• Create and maintain training materials including:
• Quick reference materials
• Visual aids
• eLearning modules
• Communications and course invitations
• Develop digital learning content utilizing modern eLearning platforms and video creation tools.
• Ensure training resources remain current with software upgrades and business process changes.

End User Support & Training Operations

• Provide software-related troubleshooting and end-user support.
• Manage, track, and resolve support requests through the IT Help Desk ticketing system.
• Maintain training calendars and schedules across regional offices.
• Manage course enrollment, attendance tracking, and user progress within the Learning Management System (LMS).

Program Evaluation & Improvement

• Gather and analyze training feedback and performance metrics.
• Establish training quality benchmarks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare training effectiveness reports and present findings to leadership.
• Recommend new learning strategies and technologies to improve user adoption and engagement.
• Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to identify training priorities and organizational learning needs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate, test, and prepare training materials for software upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Support cross-functional technology initiatives and special projects.
• Assist with coaching, mentoring, and guiding team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of technical training, technology enablement, or related experience.
• Strong experience designing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning-based training programs.
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Experience administering or working within a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience creating digital learning content, training videos, and online learning resources.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting professional services, legal, or corporate environments.
• Advanced knowledge of desktop productivity and document management platforms.
