Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Technology Learning Specialist to lead the firm’s training program for desktop applications, e-learning content, and LMS management. The role involves training new hires and existing staff across multiple offices in a hybrid work model, with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities include developing training materials, coordinating with IT and HR, and creating multimedia resources (videos, tutorials) for in-house platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of technical training experience in a large law firm.
• Strong writing skills and experience in creating training manuals and quick reference guides.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-hire training on core applications in classroom, one-on-one, or remote formats.
• Coordinate with HR, offices, and practice groups to assess training needs and develop courses.
• Develop objectives, outlines, exercises, assessments, and materials for instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced training.
• Create and maintain in-house e-learning content including screen recordings and videos.
• Develop training videos and assets using Camtasia or similar tools for the LMS.
• Maintain LMS content, materials, and reference documents; support multi-office training.
• Provide training for other offices and conduct remote video sessions when needed.
• Evaluate external training materials for firm-wide applicability.
