Job summary

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is seeking a Technology Learning and Development Specialist in New York, NY to design and deliver technology programs firm-wide, with emphasis on onboarding and user adoption. You will collaborate with the Technology Training Supervisor and practice groups to tailor solutions for diverse teams.

The role requires experience training adults, a passion for instructional design, and strong communication. The position is hybrid with NYC office residency assumed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a law firm setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training design.
• Ability to communicate clearly and adapt training approaches for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Technology Training Supervisor to improve training programs and learning experiences.
• Coordinate and ensure effective new hire technology orientation sessions across offices.
• Develop training programs covering firm systems, including desktop applications, financial tools, and practice group technologies.
• Champion adoption of new technologies and communicate their value to increase engagement.
• Create instructor notes and training materials; plan and evaluate technology training.
• Collaborate with leaders to assess training needs and deliver customized learning solutions.
• Provide on-demand or remote/in-person desk-side training and support as needed.
