Job summary

Central Transport is seeking an entry level mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. This role offers hands-on experience with heavy equipment and trailers, with growth opportunities as you learn skilled trades.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid leave, and free uniforms. Prior auto industry experience is a plus, and candidates should be prepared for physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Removing decals from trailers to be repaired
• Minor body work on trailers

Physical Requirements:

• Work is considered heavy physical work requiring exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.
• Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work.
• Must be able to: walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time

Prior mechanic experience in the auto industry is a plus!
