Job summary

Central Transport is seeking an entry level mechanic to support our fleet across the United States and Canada. Responsibilities include removing decals from trailers for repair and performing minor body work on trailers.

This role offers starting pay in the $20–$24/hour range with medical, dental, vision, vacation, and other benefits. Ideal candidates may have prior mechanic experience in the auto industry.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of heavy physical work as described in the job posting.
• Prior mechanic experience in auto industry is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Removing decals from trailers to be repaired
• Minor body work on trailers

Physical Requirements:

• Work is considered heavy physical work requiring exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.
• Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work.
• Must be able to: walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time

Prior mechanic experience in the auto industry is a plus!
