Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee to begin with hands-on training and then advance to a Recruiter role, recruiting IT consultants and guiding candidates through the full cycle. The program emphasizes learning via an onboarding coach and progressing to client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience or Associates Degree with 3 years of full‑time professional experience, or 4 years in a customer-facing role
• Enthusiasm to network and build strong relationships while maintaining high ethical standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and relate to diverse groups
• Desire for a commission-driven, performance-based career with opportunities
• Excellent written and oral communication to seek diverse perspectives
• Eagerness to learn and experiment to find best solutions

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants with career coaching
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools and in‑house AI to identify talent
• Use AI-generated insights to drive decisions in recruitment
• Advise account managers on skills, rates, locations and timelines
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates
• Demonstrate knowledge within the aligned specialization
