Job summary

Pioneer Pacific Solutions, a Seattle-based tech startup, seeks an IT Support Specialist to join its software development and IT solutions team. This FULL_TIME role pays $40,000–$55,843 yearly and offers comprehensive benefits.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support IT infrastructure, and assist with system upgrades in a collaborative, modern Seattle workspace. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field, at least 2 years of IT support experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of IT support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees and clients, ensuring smooth operation of systems and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain and update IT infrastructure including servers and workstations.
Assist in implementing new technologies with minimal disruption.
Educate and train staff on new technologies and software.
Monitor system performance and security; address issues as needed.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Document IT activities and processes for future reference.
