Job summary

Newsmax Media, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to provide technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware. You will respond in person, by phone, and via email, guiding users through troubleshooting steps.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, and Mac OS, plus proficiency with MS Office and Outlook. A 24x7 environment is mentioned, with a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, Mac OS.
Experience with MS Office suite including Outlook.
Experience with ticketing systems and helpdesk processes.
Experience in supporting proprietary software.
Experience with Active Directory, printers, anti-virus, backups.
Able to explain technical fixes to non-technical users.
Experience working in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and support for queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries in person or over the phone.
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
Gain feedback about computer usage.
Run reports to identify recurring malfunctions.
