Job summary

Newsmax-Media,-Inc. is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide frontline support for computer systems, software, and hardware in Boca Raton. You will respond to user requests in person, by phone, or email, and guide users through troubleshooting steps to resolve issues.

The role requires experience with Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, Mac OS and MS Outlook. You will work with ticketing systems, diagnose problems, install peripherals, and follow up to ensure resolution.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, and Mac OS.
Experience with MS Office suite including Outlook.
Experience with ticketing systems and helpdesk processes.
Experience in supporting proprietary software.
Experience with Active Directory, printers, antivirus, backups.
Hands on experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
Ability to explain fixes clearly to non-technical users.
Experience in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries in person or over the phone.
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
Walk customers through problem-solving process.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
