Newsmax Media, Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware. You will respond in person, by phone, and via email, guiding users through problem-solving steps and ensuring issues are resolved.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing hardware and software, running diagnostics, and following up to capture feedback. The role supports a 24x7 environment and requires clear communication with non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, Mac OS.
• Proficient with MS Office including Outlook.
• Experience with helpdesk processes and ticketing systems.
• Experience in supporting proprietary software.
• Experience with Active Directory, printers, anti-virus, backups.
• Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Able to explain fixes clearly to non-technical users.
• Experience in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for computer systems, software and hardware.
• Respond to queries in person or by phone.
• Reply to email requests for help from customers.
• Walk users through solving steps.
• Install, modify, and repair hardware and software.
• Run diagnostics to resolve problems.
• Install computer peripherals for users.
• Follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Collect user feedback on computer usage.
• Run reports to identify recurring malfunctions.
