Job summary

UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Tech Support Analyst in New York, NY. You will provide front-line technical support to end users, monitor applications and infrastructure, and participate in disaster recovery and change events.

You will work with distributed teams to improve services, drive automation, and ensure production stability through incident management. This hybrid role allows in-office and remote work in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4 years of related experience.
• Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools and automation frameworks like Autosys.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools and proactive alert management (e.g., BigPanda).
• Database administration experience and ability to work with query languages (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle).
• Strong network troubleshooting capabilities and disaster recovery coordination.
• Ability to manage risk and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support to end users on a variety of technology issues.
• Monitor and support various business/IT applications, batch jobs, and infrastructure components.
• Drive improvements using data-driven analytics with automation and robotics.
• Coordinate with multiple teams for events like disaster recovery tests and infrastructure changes.
• Work with geographically dispersed teams and manage priorities.
